infinite amount of mobs spawned from nightmares

this has been happening for a while now on my server, but for some reason there is a chance an infinite amount of mobs can spawn from nightmares. please fix this, it lags the server and makes the game unplayable. i've tried to change settings, but nothing works. please fix this.

Do they all spawn when it wakes you up, or is it just consistent spawning.

@CTGF64 Has this occurred once or multiple times? What plugins are you running? Do any of them affect mob-spawning behaviour?
