Description of issue

I'm really not a novice homebrew user, but this issue has me stumped. What I really want, is run this project on MacOs: https://github.com/HarryR/z80ai
That is not an old project, it's README.MD has been written merely two months ago.
It states step 1 is to run brew install fuse-emulator, so when I do that:

$ brew install fuse-emulator

To install ares-emulator, run:
  brew install --cask ares-emulator

No, I specifically need fuse-emulator, no other fuses or emulators will do.
I did find it as a 'package' of homebrew-core here:

and there's this page here: https://libraries.io/homebrew/fuse-emulator
But that seems not an alternative tap (or is it?)

I know about homebrew formulae and casks (which today seems less relevant to specify than a decade ago) but nothing about containers and packages.

So please enlighten me, help me out of this misery. What am I missing, what can I do to get this thingamabob installed?

It was disabled 2 years ago because it was unmaintained: Homebrew/homebrew-core#162428. That means it was removed a year ago after being disabled for a year.

The container you found are the old binaries for this formula.
