Hitomi.la changed their media server. They now use gold-usergeneratedcontent.net to serve their media & website. Thus even if hitomi.la is blocked as a domain, it still works if you use the new domain (i.e. gold-usergeneratedcontent.net). This is very problematic especially if you use a manga reader.

Check this issue (of an another project) mentioning hitomi.la changing their domain: mikf/gallery-dl#7230
